Scoring

Scoring – Critical Reading, Mathematics & Writing section except the essay are scored on a scale of 200-800. Maximum score is 2400. The essay is graded on a scale of 2-12
Viewing Scores – test taker can view scores online through 'My SAT Account' approximately 3 weeks after the test
Score Card – the test taker receives score report 5 weeks after the test
Score Validity – 5 years

Score Reporting

Four Free Score Reports:

The test takers receive four free score reports when they register for the SAT. They can add four score recipients during the registration process and make updates to their score recipients for up to nine days after their test date

Additional Score Report:

The test taker can order Additional Score Reports for a fee of US$11.25 per recipient

Score Choice:

The feature allows the test takers to choose which scores (by test date for the SAT and by individual test for SAT Subject Tests™) they send to colleges — in accordance with an institution's stated score-use practice. If they decide not to use Score Choice, all of their scores will be sent to the recipients.
